OMG, don't work like Green pad, but work like a Blue pad!!! (and sounds like cymbal when you hit it)I thinks was a better idea use the cymbal for blue pad, If you look closely, you will see the gold sensor is mounted on top of a black circular mold, probably 1/8" thick. I'm not sure how the drum kit is designed, but if the plugs are capacitively coupled like most audio equipment, that could boost the signal it "sees" quite a bit.My cymbal After you solder your own wires onto the piezoelectric element, you just "touch" them to the plug coming out of the big drum set.
