Glad you got it working. No Sound On Wii With Component Cables I've also plugged in the ps3 and have no sound. Maths! if i plug the wii u into a receiver i of course get sound, then if i unplug the hdmi from the receiver without turning off the wii u and plug

Plug both ends back in, making sure that the adapter is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector or power strip. Travis - 10/23/2014 Reply I purchased a DVD repair kit because our Wii would not read a disc. How to Troubleshoot the Wii U connection. take it back, ask to try it with a different cable. I have sound coming from the remote, but thats it.
Tried powering off (unplug it) and back on again but no joy, I hope this is not a common fault and that they last longer than 3 days.
