I also had a bogus e-mail a few days before the crash - one of those sent by an imposter using a familiar contact's name. Will Windows boot normally? Wireless Keyboard may not work in Safe mode...... Recently I cant access 'Repair Your Computer' every I press F8 it redirect to Normal Booting. Plz help. I'm able to get to the command prompt and run FRST, for example. I start my PC and the keyboard doesn't work to get into F2 settings or F8 Safe Mode If I use my Windows CD I can't boot into it using F12

What is causing the above issues?
Following your instructions on my (beloved) XP Home machine I now see the option to boot in safe mode but am still hampered that my Microsoft wireless keyboard does not respond Will do. The command to rename the file at the command prompt is: ren C:\Boot.ini Boot.ini.bak Once the file is renamed, you can then remove the*boot*disk*and reboot your computer to get back to Start Windows Normally Keyboard Not Working I have tried system restore, nothing works.

My windows vista copy is totally screwed and i'm really happy that in twenty mins i was able to use puppylinux to get online and fin dthis page.
