Crazy! When I went manually looking for it I notice there is a v2 of that update released the day after your last post (Tuesday 12/6/2012). Thinking about saying goodbye to windows and welcoming in MacOS. I opened the Remote Desktop Connection about box to show that RDP 8 is indeed enabled. this contact form
RDP always disconnects few seconds after login. Made sence to me to havea lookin the services menu and make sure "Remote Desktop Service" is started andset to "Automatic". The solution was quite simple: I found that unchecking "Printers" on the local resources tab of Remote Desktop connection was the answer. I do not believe the VPN is the problem since I can connect to other machines from my home computer and computers inside the network can not connect to my office
