- I click them and nothing happens, only the tilting of the tile to indicate I did indeed click it.

Restart System. If you just delete the OLE Key and reboot, that would be better. I thought it might be the video card. Split screen is too rigid: You can drag two apps onto a Metro-style screen at once, but you can only look at them in two sizes: wide or thin.
