Report Desire- Jul 7, 2010 04:26AM this is the best help I ever got on forums. I'm behind on Win7 because I liked XP and missed by QL. It definitely is cumbersome for those that have a gazillion windows open like me. There's not a lot of room on the taskbar in the X41's small screen and sometimes I can't seem to hit the right spot.

First thing i saw when i updated was the quick launch missing and i freaked out but thanks to this article i'm back at peace! Voilà ! Disruptive posting: Flaming or offending other usersIllegal activities: Promote cracked software, or other illegal contentOffensive: Sexually explicit or offensive languageSpam: Advertisements or commercial links Submit report Cancel report Track this discussion And for removing it from the taskbar, again right click on that program icon and "unpin" it.

This trick to enable Quick Launch also works on Windows 7 and Windows 8. I'd prefer not to have to increase the taskbar height to two rows. October 17, 2009 quicklaunch user There are two reasons why I really liked this page one from it being EXACTLY what I was looking for.
I couldn't remember what the path was. After selecting the shortcut for the program like Gtalk in quick launch items click Ok A New window will open up with title as Edit Keys , click the checkbox WIN Thanks for suggestions but nothing seems to cut it yet, and quite confusing going to links/ads possible ******** etc. The shortcut will now be on the taskbar's Quick Launch area but, if chevrons are present on the QuickLaunchBar, the shortcut may be hidden initially.
Several functions may not work. It's convenient and easy to find the applications you wish to run that way. I don't know why, either. Is there even one SINGLE user that finds Windows 7 or more importantly Office 7 to be superior to the XP versions?
Of course they work when I left click with the mouse but I want to use the windows key……….. Using the site is easy and fun. I finally realized that I had to click the blue arrow to the right of the box after copying the text there. It is not so obvious to a novice user how to enable Quick Launch in Windows 10 as it involves numerous steps and cannot be automated.
